METEORs à la carte

MAUCA offers a à la carte training: students choose their own cursus by selecting their METEORs, putting emphasis on their preferred topics: planetary sciences, stellar physics, cosmology, instrumentation, signal processing, numerical methods, and/or space industry.

Telescope training

Two weeks are spent at the twin 1m C2PU telescopes in the Calern observatory. Students plan their observations, operate the telescopes, and analyze the data.

International training

MAUCA puts emphasis on international aspects: the training is a 100% in English, many MAUCA students are foreigners, and the sixth METEOR is taken abroad, at one of our partner Universities.

Erasmus students can also follow parts of MAUCA program.

Close interaction

Work in close interaction with your teachers during the telescope training at C2PU, and during each METEOR in small groups of 2-3 students.

Opportunities

Most graduated MAUCA students have been enrolled in PhD programs in France and Europe. Some students have also been hired in the industry, in space engineering and informatics. Checkout their statistics.
